A college student was charged by the police with various alcohol infractions involving minors. Attorney Brant investigated the matter and convinced both the police and the court to dismiss the case. Result-No charges ever brought out.

A business person was charged in a fight that occurred outside a nightclub. Attorney Brant convinced the court not to press charges and in fact complaints issued against the others, not his client, involved in the fight. Result-No charges against the client ever brought out.

Woburn District Court-The client was charged with the theft of over $ 20,000.00 worth of goods. He was already on probation for similar crimes. The prosecution was seeking a long prison sentence based upon the crime and the client's criminal record. Result-Attorney Brant convinced the judge to sentence the client only to probation , keeping him out of jail.

A real estate broker was alleged to have stolen over $ 63,000.00 from a person whom he was involved with in a real estate business venture. Attorney Brant negotiated with the Judge, the District Attorney's Office, and with the alleged victims's attorney to have all charges dismissed against the client. Result-all charges dismissed.

A businessman was alleged to have followed his wife and caught her with her boyfriend. He was then alleged to have followed him, jumped and attacked him and to have bitten off much of the boyfriend's ear, injuring him severely. At a six day trial, Attorney Brant proved through forensic evidence that the injury was not a bite mark. Attorney Brant also proved that the testimony of both the boyfriend and the wife just could not be believed. Result-defendant found Not Guilty of all charges.

Dorchester District Court

An auto mechanic was charged in 2 separate incidents of driving a car after his license had been suspended. Each charge carried  mandatory imprisonment. Attorney Brant investigated this issue and discovered that the client had never been notified properly of the suspension by the Registry, and had never been given a hearing on the issue. Based upon this information, the court dismissed both cases. Result-Cases Dismissed

Brighton District Court

A business executive was charged with drunk driving. At trial, the government presented evidence showing that the defendant had been at a bar and had been drinking. Attorney Brant convinced the jury that the defendant was not impaired or intoxicated by the alcohol. Result- Not Guilty.

A construction worker who was on probation for a domestic assault case was arrested for violating the terms of his probation for a very similar allegation. At the hearing, prosecutors wanted him put in jail. Attorney Brant convinced the court not to put him in jail, not to impose a conviction on his record, and instead his case will be dismissed if he maintains a clean record for 1 year.

College student charged with several felonies, including Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon on girlfriend. Attorney Brant successfully argued that the prosecution's case was too weak. Case dismissed.

At trial, Attorney Brant argued that police had no right to confront him and cause incident. Jury agreed and found him guilty only of initial charge of disorderly person, all other charges found Not Guilty.

Retired Naval officer charged with Indecent Assault and Battery. Attorney Brant argued that any contact that happened was merely an accident. Jury agreed - Not Guilty.

Woman charged with Assault and Battery on husband. Attorney Brant argued that police did not thoroughly investigate the case, that they rushed to judgment. Case dismissed.

College student charged with 2 separate Masked Armed Robberies, each one carrying a mandatory 5 year state prison sentence. The police said he made a confession to them of both crimes when he was arrested. Attorney Brant argued that his stop, search, and arrest by the police was illegal. The judge agreed and dismissed all charges.
